Orkhon valley

Orkhon Valley sprawls along the banks of the Orkhon River in Central Mongolia, 330km to the west of capital Ulaanbaatar. It was inscribed by UNESCO in the World Heritage List as representing evolution of nomadic pastoral traditions spanning more than two millennia.

Orkhon is a picturesque valley with forested mountains and fresh lakes and rivers.

Orkhon valley has many popular attractions such as Kharkhorin, Orkhon waterfall, Ulaantsutgalan Waterfall, Uurt valley, Tuvkhun Temple and so on.
